Biutiful Cauntri

Biutiful Cauntri

Writing, transmit, broadcast, reflect. They are but these are the actions that I have left to do at this time to take heart of what I've seen this afternoon. Paraphrasing Lenin I wonder, "What to do?".
Let me explain: today, Thursday, April 3rd I went to see a documentary film on problematic situation of waste in Campania. Although I was not a virgin of this type of film and knew a little thing with the Report, for example, I could not calm the anxiety that has pervaded my state of being. "Biutiful cauntri" is not just a complaint but a cry of despair. If you read a book, surfing the Internet trying to learn more about the thing you will certainly find a wide range of material, but it will still play away from the desperation painted on the faces of the farmers who grow their peaches do not see because of the toxic dust that the play, or pastors who assist helpless Acerra the deaths of their sheep or buffaloes because of their dioxin, or even worse than the fathers who see their children slowly consumed with cancer. Creepy eyes of these poor people who see the space surrounding green and not toxic waste, rather than crops or pastures. Clouds of black smoke caused by burning of tires, piles of cans of iron-containing toxic waste from chemical factories scattered throughout the country, but especially of waste of all kinds km downloaded through the streets, as to make laughable the idea of an outing or a picnic. None of this comes dall'inciviltà of the local people, but by ecocriminale system run by the Camorra clan, all day downloading tons of waste bells no interest in the plains of fatal consequences. It is assumed that the gain of the waste out of the deal, which involves the whole country because in large quantities coming from the industrial north of Italy, tend to rival that of drug trafficking, the problem is that while not all of sniffing cocaine, all produce waste, so the issue concerns a much more profound moral issue, indifference.
The movie I saw was so strong that I think no one can remain indifferent, but the vast majority of people may not use images that gives the documentary. So what? What are the channels that will help individual citizens ignorant not to be indifferent about what is throwing? The television? Two months ago there was no talk of anything but the case of Naples, but now ... nothing. All wastes have dissolved into nothingness. The school? Could it be, if it was not too busy to create a school system that can not make us look bad in front of the European Community. We need the transmission of images, narratives, and considering that television now loves sensationalist and whining in the countryside there are plenty of bells, so theoretically it could be a suitable topic to those networks (or Rai3 La7) that sometimes propagate commitment to journalistic complaint, but an obstacle opposes this phenomenon: the involvement of institutions. In the documentary is an obvious absence of the Italian State, as is clear dominance of mafias. I do not think that the association is random and I do not think it takes a genius to figure that out. I admit that I had tears empathically to observe the cries of an environmental educator in respect of Dr. Guido Bertolaso, who casually took his way home after a visit to a dilapidated dump. "Mr Bertolaso, our children are dying. We get sick. What will you do? "" First I am a technician and not a politician, then it is my responsibility if you get sick? ". I do not think there is more to be added. There is enough material for interpretation, no? . I conclude with
an outlet of a farmer who sums up the matter as it involves all indiscriminately: "We lash out at nature, but it throws at us with her complaints" ...

anxiety prevents me from continuing ...
